TRICK OR TREAT? TREAT!
Nancy Carson Library's YA
Ghost Story Writing Contest Winners
It is Halloween. Inside the clock hands move to 12 while outside the church bells begin to toll. Suddenly screams come from the YA room. You sneak around a corner, ducking behind book stacks and crouching down behind computers, trying to catch a peek of whatever might be heading your way. Kids run out the library doors as if being chased by bees, arms flailing around in all directions.... Lights flicker....
The librarians' faces are expressionless. They move slowly, turn their heads slowly, and stare...at YOU! Beware! You don't know what is trailing you, crawling between the stacks. It's....it's... it's... a young adult ghost story writer!!!!
Are you brave enough to click the titles and read the winning stories for 2011?
