ANGEL TREES PROVIDE CHILDREN'S BOOKS FOR THE LIBRARY
Angel Trees are coming November 14 through January 6 to the Aiken, North Augusta, Bamberg, Barnwell, Edgefield, Jackson, Midland Valley, Blackville, Williston, and Johnston Libraries. With a $20 donation, patrons may choose a title from their Angel Tree and designate a bookplate in honor or in memory of a loved one. Instead of choosing a title from the tree, patrons may also give a simple monetary gift to the library. Donations in any amount are welcome and appreciated, and patrons’ names will be posted on the gift wall.
Be an angel and donate a children’s book this year to support your library. Choose from a variety of picture books for preschoolers, juvenile fiction and non-fiction for children of elementary age, and fiction for teens. The Angel Tree program provides a wealth of much-needed children’s materials to supplement the library’s collection. Contact your local library, or Rachel Pirkle at 803-642-7572 for more information.
